You're obviously a scientist, so I'll just get out of your way.

lol just kidding...

So, here's the thing - when we stay at home, hospitals don't get overloaded. When we don't they do, and it's bad. So we're not and it's good. But if we stop, it will get bad.

Does that make sense? Maybe lie down for a minute and think about it. Don't hurt yourself.

How long should we shutdown for? Perhaps for our hospitals to be completely empty?

Staying shut down is the only way we can guarantee that the only thing viral at the hospital is those hilarious tik tok nurse dancing videos!

Do you think the timeline itself will cause people to revolt and protest? Or a specific action by JBE that ends up being the straw that broke the camel's back...kind of like what the Michigan governor did?

We all understand that. The point is that some hospitals sometimes being overloaded is better than the entire economy and society collapsing.

Yet, the hospitals never got "overloaded" prior to March. Or do you think this virus just appeared early March?

Does that make sense?

If you are afraid of your own shadow, yes. It does. It's April. This virus has been here since January or earlier. the only thing that has changed has been testing. Nothing more. And because all of you "Karen's" are afraid of your own shadow, and obey government no matter what, you think that more testing = more infections! This virus has been here much longer than March. The knee jerk reaction by you and the other hypochondriacs is the only thing that has changed.

You must be one of the people standing in the background of the Governor's press conference contributing nothing but smiling politely?

You have a segment of society that has a guaranteed income in some form or fashion because their job produces nothing. They sit around masturbating, playing videogames and watching netflix all day. This lockdown is their heaven.

They just deleted it, huh?

I didn't advocate for anything, I merely offered an idea.

How do you think the problem of overreaching and corrupt government can be solved? I can promise you you'll never vote your way out of the problem.

you do realize they have been wrong, almost literally every step of the way, about COVID-19, right?

you're putting your faith in people, not gods, people who, up to this point, have utterly and completely failed in this crisis

but yes, following their orders, no matter how irrational, without question is what we need to keep doing

Alright this was fun.

I learned that a bunch of desk jockeys from the state with the worst education in the country have figured out this pandemic thing, and that they know better than all of the science and economic experts in the world.

We really should be mining this board for ideas on a way forward. I'm sorry the mean Democratic Governor made you all angry. I hope you can all channel that energy into playing with your kids or something.

I won't be back to read your super witty responses. Enjoy your intellectual wrasslin' match.

You mean the experts that have coincided a reduction in deaths related to heart disease and regular flu that coincides with the rise in deaths from Kung Flu?

Wow, you are very subservient. Government loves people like you.

One more thing to keep in mind, now that it seems we have identified who is at risk are we really surprised that the Dems are going to shut things down? Most of the "at risk" seem to be constituents of theirs.

We should have paid the at risk population to stay home and set up networks to get them food. Yes this would be wrought with fraud but it would have been a drop in the bucket compared to the trillions congress decided to spend propping up businesses that can't produce.

Would a lot of people gotten the virus? Yes. How many of those people would have died? Based on current data, not many at all.
