I just sit here and hope that this place is a vocal minority of morons, stuck in an echo chamber with a few piped pipers leading the rest of the brainless on these idiotic rants.

But unfortunately, I think this is about what you get in Louisiana.

Same here. I meant when we, as a society, go back to work.

The only things open here are Walmart (gross), Lowe's and the dollar stores. The next city over is where I normally shop and the places I shop other than Target are CLOSED.

Is there anything other than bitch on a message board that people can do? Seriously is there?

I agree. We should stay shut down to protect people of size like you. Enjoy your McDonald’s breakfast

It's exactly like that.

Except that the rain has slowed to a light drizzle and most people don't mind getting a little wet. If you do, stay inside.

That, and if you stay inside too long, the house will burn down.

Great analogy otherwise.

I’ve been back at work for almost three weeks. In fact, I was only out of work for the birth of my first daughter, whom I haven’t held in those same three weeks. Trust me, no one is as ready for normalcy as I. It is too soon.

So what. Get out of the way and let people take risk and live their lives
We do that in hurricanes and the people ask why didn't Governor so and so or president so and so do more?

I'm not advocating for either position. I know I don't know enough to be strident on either side.

You suck at analogies. Again, the point of the lockdown was to prevent the hospitals from being overloaded. Hospitals are not overloaded and won't be. So now, what is the point of the lockdown? Unless you just want a perpetual shutdown because at some point in the future, one day, just maybe, a hospital might become overloaded.

Yes, it is. And we're all going to get wet eventually. The point is to not have everybody out in the damn storm at the same time.
