TAF/LSU did the right thing re: championship tickets

The cutoff as many know is in the low 8000s. That means people like myself and quite a few others who are relatively new but loyal season ticket holders can get into the game for face value. I am very appreciative. Based on the distribution chart that’s about where I calculated it to be if you only counted TAF members as well as a couple thousand seats for parents, band, students and some AD staff. Supposedly in the past LSU has only reserved 60% of their allotment for season ticket holders but it looks like this year they’ve allotted a far higher percentage instead of giving them away to people with connections to the AD but not necessarily with season tickets. Thank you to the Athletic Department. I will remember this game for the rest of my life and I’m glad so many were able to get tickets without having to pay thousands per ticket.

Wow. The ticket office has seemed to be very liberal with information this season
Politicians getting their tickets straight from the Sugar Bowl probably helps a lot. So they don’t need to pillage LSU’s allotment.

Log onto your LSU ticket account and click order history. If you got any they will show up there.

You had to request tickets during the postseason request window. If you did that and your ranking is within the range listed below then just contact the ticket office.

FYI site seems to be down — I can’t log in to find my ranking. I’m more than 8000 but not sure how much over and was curious to see if u was 8401!!

LSU tix site. My account, scroll down to lifetime priority points. Ranking should pop up along with the breakdown of all your points. Lifetime is the one for postseason tickets, philanthropic is for new season tickets.

I’ve been a season ticket holder for 15 years and didn’t get any. Maybe not long enough or not doing something right. I knew it was going to be competitive though.
