I feel like lsu is going to get either him or achane

they need someone like this for the Brady offense.

Not the end all be of course but there are articles qouting him saying if Bama pushes thats where he will sign. They are scouting him tonight and hes visiting tomorrow. Some also feel OSU is his destination. We shall see

IMO I like him more than Evans. Downvote me all ya want. This kid looks to have better vision, shows patience as a runner and overall his highlights just look more explosive. After watching his senior mid season highlights at the 2:53 mark I’m convinced.

He looks good, but his competition looks suspect.

I thought the same but if you just look at the kid’s overall ability you can’t tell me he can’t do this against anyone

Dude has everything Helaire has, plus he goes out wide on routes, and has top end speed/breakaway speed.

Looking at his offer sheet, he's the exact type of RB Ohio St would want to grab. LSU should hurry up and get in on this guy before it's too late.

Well I like Texas's RB recruit better than Evans too, but somebody has found the crown jewel of this RB class in this Gibbs kid.

Alvin Kamara

Great comparison. I sometimes see people compare recruits to NFL players and they are usually completely off. This doesnt seem like one of those times. He may not be as good but he runs very similarly.

They way he puts his foot in the ground and cuts is very impressive. It would be great to get this guy IMO.

agreed, normally somebody breaks one tackle and it reminds somebody of Kamara, this comparison is spot on! Like I wouldn't be surprised if it was Kamara's film and somebody was having some fun

The highlights look great but versus mostly slower defensive teams (white.....cough cough....).

Kamara comparison is legit has that elusiveness and slipperiness about him where tacklers just slide off him

I really like this running back. I like the fast and elusive running back better than a fast but a straight line of guy. He is like Helaire but has better breakout speed. He has exceptional vision as well.

Just going by the highlight reels posted here, I'm in complete agreement with you. I upvoted you.

IF, and it is a big if, LSU thinks they can make an all-in push right now (not later, through the month of Nov) and get an all-in with commitment and promise to sign in Dec from Gibbs I say do it.

If it were to fail, could revert back to trying for Evans or resume this current RB strategy.

But I say unload, tell him he is 'the one' and let's be the one to sway him just as he's blowing up and see what happens.

The way he avoids contact is unmatched. Looks like a point guard dribbling through traffic.

Kid is a take if he shows any interest. Way more impressive of a runner than Evans imo. I’m not blown away by Evans’s film at all, but this Gibbs kid’s film shows everything you want in a running back. Speed, power, balance, agility, vision, and finish. Looks like a much more explosive Noah Cain, because I thought Cain had the best vision in his class last year and he is beginning to tear it up at Penn St.
