I scrolled through every audience review.
I found a grand total of THREE reviews of the hundreds of audience reviews that were less than 4 stars.
1 was 3 stars (liked it but didn't love it)
2 were 1/2 stars (assholes that just want to shite on everything)

Yeah, that section wasn’t funny, but that’s kind of the point. It’s just jokes. If you don’t like it, don’t buy a ticket. It’s is not moving the needle politically, as much as it resonates with people in the moment.

I watched it. I may not be a "99" in my book, but 17% is ludicrous.
He hit them pretty close to home and this is the only way they have to fight back. Hell, Chappelle has a decent case of TDS. That doesn't spare him from excoriation by the professional offended class (most of the left by now).
But, he wasn't wrong in going after the PC speech police. Comedy is SUPPOSED to challenge your assumptions, make you feel uncomfortable and, perhaps even offend at times.

Rotten Tomatoes changed when Captain Marvel released. It couldn't handle the bad reviews.

That he dared hit them at all is why the Critics rating is so low. If he had left that out entirely and not gone against their grain on abortion and #MeToo he would probably be trending around at least 80% on the Critics side.
Thankfully he has the F-U money to give less than a shite about "critics" and just do the material he enjoys.

Here’s a shocker... The Left has no sense of humor.
Especially when a comedian doesn’t suck the Left’s proverbial dick while displaying fervent TDS and shitting all over Republicans.
You can see this very clearly in the special when Chappelle describes “the worst kind of person on the planet” and asks the crowd who do they think he’s describing, and the crowd begins shouting, “Trump!”, but then Chapelle goes, “No, it’s YOU! I’m describing all you mother frickers!”, and all you hear is a handful of uncomfortable laughs and a bunch of displeased murmuring and boo’s.
These people wanted so bad for him to shite on Trump, they were completely unprepared for him to shite on everyone, including them.
The hubris and lack of self-awareness on the Left is just staggering.

He is the only positive critic review and went into a discussion of why there were only 5 reviews (all negative) before his.
Also made it a point to say his was a "fresh" review.
I randomly stumbled upon his review (didn't realize he was gonna review this. I like his quick hitting format for other media). Was curious what his take would be.

I loved the special. Did I agree with all of it no. Glad to see someone with the stones to say what he wants and not care of what you may think of it! Deal with it! My friend drove him around for a weekend in New Orleans when he was doing two shows. Buddy said he rode up front with him and asked him to tell him about New Orleans. Said he was cool and down to earth unlike other aholes he has had in the past. End of the weekend hit him up with a huge tip.
