LSU's Civil War cannons: Updated

Does anyone know what happened to the two Civil War cannons that used to be displayed in front of the ROTC building on campus? I first noticed them gone in the Spring. They still aren't there. I found this March 2019 article: Article that desbribes the ROTC building deteriorating away. It says the guns were moved, but doesn't say where to or why. The pedestals are still there, sitting empty. I'd like to know if they've been moved to an on campus museum or something where folks can still see them. Hopefully they haven't been given, traded, or sold away. These guns were donated to LSU by Sherman after the war. They were supposedly fired on Fort Sumter when the war started.
Updated to reflect this information from a poster: Just got off the phone with Army ROTC, because of roof repairs, the cannon are in safe storage...once the repairs are completed, the cannon will return.

Somebody saw them and called in an active shooter so they had to remove them.

They were a sign of oppression and toxic masculinity. The new student diversity coordinator couldn’t deal with them as they literally triggered her

With everything Civil War related being taken down and discarded these days, it wouldn't surprise me. I'm just trying to find out if anybody knows the scoop on this situation.

The ROTC may have preemptively removed them to keep them from going somewhere else.

They did wage war against the United States for dubious reasons at best.
