As a Reds fan, I agree. That 1990 Reds team was an odd team. They won their first 9 games and was first wire-to-wire. But, played .500 baseball the last half of the season. Oakland was stacked. McGuire, Conseco, and Henderson were monsters, and had great pitching.

But, I'd pick the Jets over the Colts as the biggest upset.

And the A’s acquired Willie McGee after Whitey Herzog resigned. They were loaded.
