or the Hidden Cove

LINK

didn't realize they were opening in that old French Quarter Daiq spot on Essen...I'd bet they had to gut the shite out of that building.

Looks nice though

Do they have about the same amount of beer and liquor as the old location?

I can't say I've ever been inside the new location but I am assuming this is smaller.

Awesome. Can’t wait to go in and look at a 20 page list of their beers and then have to go with my 10th option because they are sold out of 80% of the beers on the menu.

They've been soft open for the past few weeks. It's not the old Cove but its still solid. The addition of food is a nice touch especially if they can figure out the menu.

Not even close to the same selection. The beer list is closer to Olive or Twist size than old Cove and they cut back on the liquor a ton as well. They still have the best selection of whiskeys in town but not as ridiculous.

I thought it was already open. I went last night for a little bit. I dig it. The cocktail list is pretty creative and has a ton of drinks on it.

Went two Saturdays ago, it was dead but I guess they weren't officially open yet. The place certainly looked nice, drinks were great but I didn't try any of the food.

I hated going into the old cove due to the stale smoke smell, is this place smoking or non smoking?

That place taught me that any beer made in China tastes like a pack of menthols
