A little truth for you on a Saturday

An interesting new book being published:
Left compared to Right and how they obtain their news . These guys agree with my theory that I partially disclosed the other day. Clearly, the authors are bright and perceptive:
The book’s title, “Network Propaganda: Manipulation, Disinformation, and Radicalization in American Politics,” is a mouthful, but the book’s message is almost simple. The two sides are not, in fact, equal when it comes to evaluating “news” stories, or even in how they view reality. Liberals want facts; conservatives want their biases reinforced. Liberals embrace journalism; conservatives believe propaganda. In the more measured but still emphatic words of the authors, “the right-wing media ecosystem differs categorically from the rest of the media environment,” and has been much more susceptible to “disinformation, lies and half-truths.”

this article and premise is as foolish and as ignorant as you are on most days. Your entire premise is counter to reality
Tossing around words like "liberals" and "facts" in same breath is truly laughable.
how quaint

A good example of conformational bias right here.

I just read the article and according to the researchers, instead of verifying the accuracy of a bulk of news reports from various left and right sources, they simply took case studies in obviously false stories and saw how much traction they caught on the extremes of the ideological media. They conclude that the right’s propaganda has more staying power than the left’s.
I might read this book because it will be interesting see which stories were decided upon to follow and why.

of course they do
Dont make the mistake of thinking the actual definition of "journalism" is akin to what the left's definition is.
You mistakenly think we're talking the same language, just because their words sound like ours. You'd be grossly mistaken.

Liberals can't handle facts and would rather censor you than hear the statistics that prove your argument.
