I am going to be in Louisiana the 26th - 30th. I had plans to go here. Turns out they closed Halloween night 2017 even though the calendar say's they would be opened in 2018.

Anyone ever get to go here? Was it worth it?

I never got to go

My friends can barely handle the 13th gate where they can’t touch you.

I went once, I was very impressed with the build out of all the different rooms. Very talented people... my favorite was the haunted looking chapel and altar.

I wish 13th Gate would close. It makes postgame traffic even worse.

It was bought by another company and now called New Orleans nightmare. Same location and I would imagine a lot of the same setup.

Yeah, the New Orleans Nighmare took over the spot. Haven't seen it yet.

The new one at Scout Island is supposed to be great, I would check that out when you are here.

Pretty cool to watch the fire light up while sitting in a train on top of the bridge! Would honk sometimes to add a little extra something!

Isn't nightmare the old haunted house from pre-katrina that was on multiple floors?

I thought it was called something else.

Bummed about house of shock officially closing.
