Confirmed (far beyond a reasonable doubt): Cole Tracy's 42-yarder Auburn was LSU's 1st walk-off FG in regulation in program history.

That's pretty cool considering the history of LSU football. Next on the to-do list for us, we need to play Michigan for the 1st time ever.

How is this possible? I can see why during the Miles’ years because of clock management, but the program has been around over a hundred years.

The first time should have been 2007, but then Flynn to Byrd happened which was even better

It would be interesting to see how prevalent it is at other programs. Like do other schools who have been playing as long as us really only have a handful? What would be really weird is if the average is in the double digits or something.

Could go down as the most important play of the 2018 season. But we still have a long ways to go.

I was thinking we had a walkoff vs Bama in 2011, but it was in overtime, not regulation.

That’s really cool and hard to believe.

Didn’t someone post the other day that we’ve never returned a kickoff for a TD in TigerStadium? That’s another fact that’s incredible that we’ve never had one.

Apparently, this doesn’t consider OT victories. Bama OT won in ‘11 came to mind. Also, I thought we had a walk-off FG victory against Florida during Miles’ tenure.

Out of curiosity, who confirmed this for the tweet?

Posters were saying the 1941 Florida game was the last walk-off FG in regulation.
