The old man turns 70 later this year. What is a good gift for someone who has no real hobbies and everything he wants? Hookers and blow are for his 80th.

But him a large collection of tv shows from the 50's (westerns, etc).
Was he a 60's flower child? Maybe a trip the site of Woodstock.

Take him out to a nice dinner with the family. Maybe a round of golf.

Prob just get everyone together and cook and enjoy time with family. Maybe do some of the things y’all did growing up. Listening to music, playing dominos or cards

We took my dad to DC for a week when he turned 70 in 2001. We got Metro passes, and rented a Georgetown condo near the Watergate building. My dad, and I, spent three days going through The Smithsonian. We went to Arlington Cemetery, Mount Vernon, saw a show at the Kennedy Center, and ate at a bunch of neat places.
My mom was still working, and actually worked some while we were going through the museum. We went with her to one of the Louisiana Congressman's offices, and took the underground train from his office to The Capital. I don't think we would have been allowed to do all of that now. This was in March of 2001, before the 9/11/01 attack.
Maryland made the Final Four that year. The day after they won their regional, we took the Metro out there, caught a bus to campus, and bought a couple of Final Four tee shirts with all four teams logos. It was fun seeing how excited all of the Maryland fans were.
Being able to spend the week with my parents was a great thing. Doing what he wanted to do (going through the Smithsonian) made it really special. Both of my parents are still going strong. He had a stroke in 2016, so they have cut back of traveling. They spent over a week riding historical trains in Colorado last month though. It was something he wanted to do, and his neurosurgeon, approved, so they went.
Enjoy whatever time you can spend with them.

It's page 2 and nobody has said "hookers and blow". I'm stunned.
