Bouligny Tavern is always a solid choice.

I was recommended St. Joe's. New to me and seems pretty sweet from the pictures. My biggest thing now is I don't like going out places where it's so loud I can't even talk to anybody. I guess this is growing up

Delachaise

$25 bottle of wine, AC blasts, and the food is good. Steak bruschetta is prime

Delachaise or bouilingy tavern. St Joe’s isn’t a bad option.

Too many hotties there. Make arrangements to ditch your date after surveying the field.

These would be my recommendations. St. Joe's is more casual, if that's what you're looking for.

If you live in Louisiana and can’t sit outside during the summer at night, you should probably just move.

It's not that I can't (I actually just did it last friday) but I'd rather not on a first date

2nd these if you're looking for something uptown. Both solid choices. St. Joe's is okay, but you'll probably be sitting at the bar, unless you want to go to the back patio (outdoors).
