Wow,
OSU also has dumbass fans who know more than the coaches.

We haven't seen ANY of our guys get significant PT. We have at least seen Burrows move the offense vs Michigan. We KNOW the kid is sharp as he just graduated in 3 years. We KNOW the kid has been coached by a damn good QB developer for 3 years. Need I continue?

It's a hell of a get if O can land him. It'll probably buy him another year at least.

We covet other backups because we can’t seem to find 1 that can take us to the SEC championship in 7 years. And those 2 weren’t great either

Yes. Yes we do. But it was Haskins who should've started over Barrett last year, not Burrow. But Burrow is still good.

The last 3 QBs Canada has had have all been drafted.

I’m not saying that’s the sole reason he was drafted but MC definitely made him better than he was the year before.

Maybe that is because the QB isnt the problem? Hell, arguably the best LSU team ever was QBed by the most criticized LSU QB in history.

Oh wow.

“Cost OSU the NC in 2015, 2016 and 2017.”

I would have been thrilled if LSU was in sniffing distance of the Playoff those years.

I wish our coaches would make those kind of dumbass mistakes.

Slightly incorrect...

The correct saying is:
so far, only LSU and Cincinnati have clearance to SPEAK TO him.

He’s currently on an OSU scholly. So the school/coaches have the right to deny others from speaking to him about transferring.

But once he graduates, he can do as he pleases.

burrow spring game 2017
I hate to say it, but 2/3 of those touchdowns would have been int's against our secondary and one of the completions was actually out of bounds. The other TD was wide open. He did hit him beautifully in stride, but it wasn't a very difficult throw. He also had a nice pocket to throw from every time. Everything's relative. Hard to say what he would have looked like against the defense in our spring game.

I'm not hating on the guy by any means. If he want's to transfer in, welcome aboard. He was a great prospect, and he looks solid. However, he was a similar prospect to MB and LN, and he couldn't win the starting or the backup job at OSU. Just don't expect him to clarify our QB situation if he does come.

He’s visiting 2 schools so far. Just 2.
I’d definitely say we have a chance being as, our of the 2, our team is the one with potential to win it all. Our team is stacked everywhere except QB.
We need him and he needs us.

I think I remember him playing for LSU at the time. And playing on this team got him drafted.

...and he was of similar caliber as the year before. Canada had some influence, but so did the 2 other OC's.

Well maybe you might want to look at Burrow's performance in the 2016 Spring Game. OSU's dbs included, Lattimore, Hooker, Conley and Ward -- all 1st round draft picks, with Lattimore and Ward being the first corners taken in their respective drafts. With real tackling going on he hit at least 3 plays over 30 yards with perfect touch. Had a very good long run that involved breaking tackles. See LINK

Of course, not having gotten much game time behind the Big Ten's career statistical leader in about every category, there is a significant risk that he won't pan out in games. However, his completion percentage when he was in actual games at OSU was about 77%.

Also, OSU's defensive talent was very good in addition to DBs. In the 2018 draft, they had a defensive end drafted in 2d, 3d & 4th round (second player chosen in 4th.) This doesn't include Nick Bosa (certain No. 1) or Dremont Jones (widely viewed as at worst second round pick at defensive tackle)

He is about a good as a quarterback as you can imagine without having had substantial game experience. My guess is that if goes to LSU, there is a 75% chance he will win 2 additional games for LSU. (Based on the criticisms of current qbs I see here) As I have said before, he just has had the misfortune of being on a team with another very good qb, and neither he nor Haskins deserve to sit.

the only "mistake" Meyer made was letting some guy named "Tom Herman" go start coaching at Houston.
