The QB play in the spring game was less than robust. I am all for bringing in someone that will help win games. I don’t know if this guy can do it, that’s for O and Ensminger to figure out.
All of this may be for naught if that online is as porous during the season as it was during the spring game.

What a curve ball if Burrow comes in and is the starter in Dallas vs Miami. All winter we debated Brennan/Narcisse, only to have McMillian look better than both, then with an RKO out of nowhere, Burrow comes in and starts.
I’m all for it, we need this kid.

This is a first. A QB that prior to yesterday no one on this board had heard of is our savior. shite, we normally just think that our backup is our man, now we covet others backups

The guy seems to have great mechanics and a field presence, but that one play they showed twice- if that were a live scrimmage game with QB contact, he wouldn’t be alive today. That LB would have taken him out !
Still, he could be a difference maker for us. I hope he transfers here.

LSU would be getting a hell of a QB if you land Joe Burrow. I have seen this kid play and he is legit. That link to the OHSAA State Final game was one of the best high school football games i have ever seen. Just an FYI, the other QB in that game was Deshon Kizer. Anyway, Joe Burrow comes from good stock. His dad played for Nebraska, coached at Nebraska and now coaches with Solich at Ohio U. He has all the tools. I really wanted him to win the job over Dwayne Haskins at Ohio St. Simply put, this kid can start at 90% of the schools out there. Really sad to see him leave. Unfortunately, there is only 1 QB on the field. I only pray this decision doesn't come back and bit Urban in the arse.

It's shocking how quickly we jumped off of the bandwagon of our QBs in favor of a guy we might not even get.
I wonder how people walk this back if he doesn't come.

We go back to "hoping and praying" that our QB's improve enough to not lose us multiple games.
We haven't seen ANY of our guys get significant PT.
We have at least seen Burrows move the offense vs Michigan.
We KNOW the kid is sharp as he just graduated in 3 years.
We KNOW the kid has been coached by a damn good QB developer for 3 years.
