Why is he transferring? With Barrett gone why isn't he competing to start next year?

I hope joe burrow does great wherever he goes. I would love to see him at LSU.

It's more Haskins than Martell.
Haskins has elite arm talent and won the locker room. Urban couldn't assure Burrow that he would start, so Joe is doing the smart thing and transferring with two years of eligibility left.
Burrow has shined in his limited role and all practice reports, and would be a great get for any school.
He has a very solid arm (not elite) and can run. He's also a great character guy.
I think he'll succeed anywhere he goes. LSU would be lucky to have him.

question, smartbuck. just how dual threat is burrow? how well does he move. my limited college football knowledge would say he very much above average in mobility if meyer and herman wanted him.

He's/She's Burrow's family or friend. All his/her posts reek of it
Burrow is an instant starter here, but Meyer already made a dumbass decision starting Cardele Jones over Barrett, so starting a guy who has never done anything over a 2.5 year vet who had a 26-4 record blowing by passing and total offense records. The guy is considered one of the greatest QBs in Ohio St's history, and had over 3800 yards and 47 TDs just last year.

No Joe shouldn't have started because he didn't beat out JT.
Urban didn't screw anybody as JT again put up numbers LSU fans can only dream of. He is 38/44 win/loss with the most wins in school history. He won two Big 10 championships and would have won a third without the injury.
You're getting upvotes and guys calling you out are getting downvoted because LSU fans decide any idiot that praises somebody/something that seems great for us, must be good. Not a one of any of these people would be happy if our former backup beat our arse in a playoff game.
Just admit that you are a close friend/relative of him. Probably someone who only became an OSU fan because he committed there. Or you are a friend/relative who was an OSU fan, but are salty because he wasn't good enough to beat out two really good QBs.
No hate towards Burrow, as I think he would be a day one starter for us, but your schtick is terrible, and these people are eating it up.
