Oh really? How did that go with Ms State and Troy?

We win these last 3 regardless of who we start. Get Brennan the experience as he's the clear starter next year. He'd get 3 more regular season games and bowl practice/game leading the team heading into next year.

These last three games are just as winnable for Brennan as they are for Etling.
Even with DE and knowing his deficiencies, there's literally nothing we've seen from Brennan to be certain of this.

He's a true freshman, we don't know if he's ready, and we don't know if he can even play as well or not well as DE.

When MB was in there last night it didnt seem like the play was going nowhere. He brings some juice

All I saw were a few short passes against a prevent defense and a sack? Perhaps I missed something.

Maybe not start, but he plays the second quarter. Gives him enough reps that aren't in garbage time.

In my humble opinion! “For what it’s worth “
Etling cost us 21 points! Missed on multiple deep balls to open receivers, and the INT! That alone would have put us over the top!

Idk! But like the announcers said last night! Gotta have a gunslinger mentality to put the balls in tight windows! Etling does NOT have the “IT”! Factor! You can not hold back the offense and beat a Bama or a Georgia!! Just not gonna happen!

Because it's worked so well in the past. Hell, why not start every freshman QB we get and try our best to ruin them so we can bitch about not having a good QB, not developing our QB right, or the obvious- ruining them by throwing them to the dogs.. SMH How about let's not.. And how about let's stop making these threads.

The frick? Why? What good does that do? With the talent we have, if we can't beat Tennessee, Arkansas, and A&M with Brennan, we have serious serious serious serious issues.

Brennan needs the experience for next season. Might as well prep him now

I won't say start...but at least 3 or 4 drives every game the rest of the way.

no. we need to win these games and get a better bowl. i'll bet a dime to a do-nut the PLAYERS (you know, the guys on the team) and the coaches want to win out. Brennen will have plenty of time with spring practice, fall practice and the early season games to get seasoning.

hint: never throw in the towel early. your goal should be victory and let tomorrow take of itself tomorrow.

Because Brennan has not played better than Etling in 3 chances.
