When I checked it last week, I was up 36% this year.

How about over last 36 months? Mine up nearly 75%. Point is, don't put lots of credit on Trump's side of the ledger. And yes, I'm getting nervous. Dow up about 150% since Obama elected...can't go up forever and I'm about 8 years from retirement.

What's your current allocation? Probably not a bad idea to get a little more conservative.. I'm about to hit 30 and am 100% stocks.. but I've got the time to ride out corrections.

Up 15.95% Over the last full year.

Up 17.10% in 2017.

Agreed, but short of a war with NK, I think we still have a strong upside. I was hit hard in 2007/08 and finally feel like I am back on track. Want to squeeze those last few drops out of this record-length recovery! Currently about 60% stocks, 10% bonds, 25% real estate and 5% gold

Just in interest, it covers our monthly expenses. Both of us work 2 days a week now. Will start a pension in January.

If you stay in even if you retire, you can still ride out corrections. Moving it around almost guarantees you to lose.
