STFU Mo. You don't even know the context.

Wrong actually. Saban led LSU to the 24-20 victory. Miles led the tigers to the 40-31 win after being down by 4 possessions. If you’re going to try to lob facts out there as insults then at least be accurate.

Boy I'm sure glad you wernt around in 2000 when we lost to UAB. Was that Saban's fault or Josh Booty's?

Ultimately Saban's as he was the head coach. Not sure what you're trying to illustrate here, but it's probably really stupid

No.

Is there a favorable context in which the coaching abilities or results between Saban and O are comparable? I guess if you're taking Saban's perspective.

I bet some Ole Miss fans were giving these same excuses during O's first year. God help us all...

Yeah, my bad. Miles was losing to Troy 31-10 and was able to come back and win because he had better players than we have now.

He's blaming O for losing to Troy. I asked if it was all Saban's fault for losing to UAB his first year. Same circumstances, same results.

I bet the OP was one of those guys that still says Miles won a NC two years after he became coach with "Saban's players"...

You could just explain your point to me and prove it isn't stupid but you're just taking your ball and going home instead. What a pussy

Miles backed into a NC with two losses and all the moons and stars lining up just right while having key players that Saban recruited.

So you don't see the comparison to 2000? Well yeah I give up. You win by default I guess. Congrats.

You can recognize Miles had a great run at LSU while also recognizing the game had passed him by. For the record those were his players in 2007. He was their coach and was their coach for two prior years

There is absolutely no reason for optimism like there was in 2000. Like I said previously, anyone who knew football knew Saban was a known commodity, a brilliant defensive mind and a guy who turned a Michigan State program in the dumps on the heels of probation into a competitive program. What has O done that even VAGUELY resembles Saban's resume pre-2000?

Exactly, it’s not like Miles was knocking Troy out of the stadium......he almost lost that one....I knew our OL was in trouble about 3 years ago...
