Honestly have no idea how much NASCAR drivers are paid. Figured it's a lot since they are a bukkake of advertisment

This motherfricker.

He's always been a pussy.

Maybe he should be a likable personality and people might pay him to peddle their product.

Individual NASCAR racing teams are worth an average of $143 million and generate annual revenues exceeding $100 million. Full-time NASCAR drivers share in the sport's riches, earning from $1 million to $20 million annually from salary and purse winnings as well as endorsements.

Nascar is boring because everything is the same. The cars and everything is so regulated that it takes all the fun out of what used to be a buch of bootleggers racing each other.

Also, The owners of Nascar have taken the "ESPN" approach and are trying to appeal to minorites while pushing away it's existing fanbase.

Hamlin should just ask his boss for a raise if he wants more money.

I don't think there is a salary cap in Nascar.

Lulz, they can't even get the below market value amount of NBA and Football players.

Get paid as much as NBA and NFL to drive left for a couple of hours? I could do that.

The only players that get their true value are the ones who play in uncapped leagues or leagues that have cap exceptions for certain players. Baseball players and any soccer players who are worthy of the DP exception in MLS have that in the US.

Screw that I'm canceling my Left Turn Package. Where else would they this kind of money beside America?

You get paid handsomely to drive a car in a circle.

You're all underpaid. STFU.

Donovan McNabb: "NASCAR drivers are not athletes. They sit in a car and drive. What athletic things are they doing?"

If they learned how to turn right every once in a while, they can make $30 million+.

Does he not understand how athletes get paid?

The more profitable the sport (in this day and age that means TV contracts) the more money the competitors get.

There's a reason pro-lacrosse players don't make dick.

Besides, the money you get from your league is not even the big money. Big money comes from sponsorship and endorsement deals which big name players sign on their own.

He's not talking about himself. Here's his quote.
quote:

“It’s a combination of all those things,” Hamlin said. “Essentially the drivers get two months off. The teams get no months off. There just has to be some kind of different revenue sharing. I’m sure this will be in some headline somewhere where ‘Denny says the drivers aren’t paid enough.’ I’m basing it off all other sports. I’m not including myself. I’m including probably the back half of the field that those drivers are risking the same amount I am, and they should be paid a hell of a lot more.

Exactly what happened.
