What should of raised a red flag? From all reports no one had any idea he was capable of he did.

Probably they are too busy with Muh Russia these days.
FBI may have to change their name and drop the Investigation part. Not doing well in that category.

From everything I have seen he should have passed. No police contact. No mental illness. What should the FBI have cued in on?

Impossible! If Shrinks can analyze and deem Trump mentally incompetent for the office of POTUS just by watching CNN then Shirley could've seen this guy Comey'ing.

This is not minority report. We cannot determine what someone will do prior to them doing it.

What should they have known? Dude had a clean record.

Why shouldn't they have sold him a firearm in your opinion considering he was squeaky clean?

They did the worst job possible with Hillary and as for background checks, they have had issues long before this incident.

Then the fricking system that’s constantly touted doesn’t God damn work. Make all the excuses you want, but this changed so many families forever and it’s bullshite

What system are you complaining about? The system that did a background check and was in compliance with the most important piece of paper within our country?
So you are now against free markets and pro police state?
To basically quote Grover Cleveland...
It is the people's job to support the government not the government's job to support the people.

I'm not for gun control. I believe that everyone has a right to own and operate firearms.
The issue to me is does a person have the right or should they have the ability to purchase 30 firearms without raising a red flag.
Maybe something should be in place to say that if someone has registered more than 10 guns that person should have to be registered as a dealer or investigated further.

By all means, you explain to us how to determine that someone is a mass murderer BEFORE they murder anyone.

Well, it does work. It's just not a perfect system. If that's your indictment of it, then you will never be happy with anything.
Do you know how many safety features are built into traffic systems in the U.S.? Or how many safety systems are built into modern automobiles sold in this country? Yet fatal accidents happen every single day.
"System doesn't work" or "nothing is perfect."
Again - your chances of being murdered are already low in this country. You can mitigate that more by avoiding areas were murders are likely to occur. If you do end up getting murdered in America, statistically, it will not be at a random mass shooting event where a psycho with a rifle does you in - you're more likely to get struck by lightning.
No, you will be involved in some random street crime gone wrong - or a domestic dispute - and killed with a handgun - and less than a 50% chance it was purchased by the shooter who was subjected to a background check.
So, system is not perfect. But it works an awful lot when you consider how few the nation's ~300 million or so guns kill every year.

So is that registering them in a lifetime? At a single time? I know of people that have up to at least 20 guns in their safes at this moment. Different guns for hunting, skeet, pistols, etc.

According to leftists, the government will be able to foretell what a person’s future intentions will be (sometime decades later) when they purchase a gun.
