His resume is not important, only that he probably improved from whatever happened in the past and that whatever job we are talking about is his dream job. Time passed therefore he improved. That is a fact. It really is that simple dude. He also 100% learned from all of his mistakes.

The problem with this logic, of course, is that what benefit is realized if his contemporaries are also improving during the intervening time?

And Dabo Swinney had zero head coaching when he was hired and has been very successful at Clemson.

while true, if Orgeron goes 25-14 in his first 3 seasons at LSU like Dabo did at Clemson, he's going to get canned.

ETA: this is an admitted troll post. react with caution.

For the record, all of my posts in this thread are also troll jobs. I can't believe someone actually up voted one of them.

I didn't realize this would turn into a serious discussion comparing Saban to Orgeron.

Do you have a job or anything? Literally your entire day is starting Bash O threads and bouncing around ones already on the board.

We get it, you love Miles, hate O. Let’s try to be positive about the rest of the season instead of spending 8 hours a day shitting on the current coaching staff.

Let’s start by beating Troy.

Kevin Faulk was the best player on the field that day and damn near won it all by himself. Michigan State also had 6 turnovers. Coaching had almost nothing to do with how that game turned out.

Never won 10 games in a season prior to LSU, period.

I believe Saban's years at Toledo and Michigan State only had 11 regular season games, and no conference championship games either.

Saban also lost to UAB and ULM. Should we crown both of them?

Why does it matter if a HC is an a-hole? All that matters is his results. He's coaching a football team. It's not like you're living under the same roof with the man.

Are we, as a fan base, ever going to accept that HE isn't here anymore? That it has been over 10 years now? That we are two coaches removed from HIM?
