This is overblown if you ask me. That's just recruiting, man. It gets ugly, especially when you're going head to head on multiple kids every recruiting cycle.
You think Jimbo and Dabo didn't shite on LSU last year? Yet 99% of the fambase would take them with arms wide open and not think twice about anything they said at previous coaching jobs.
