The freshman have outplayed most of the vets. It was an ugly loss that spiraled out of control. We aren't as good as we thought but we're not that bad either. Clean up the penalties and open up the offense and things should get better.

Best stretch in history of the program. But now we don't have talent.
2015 would be ranked around 30th if done today. 2014's top 4 stars left for the NFL.

The real question is what would our recruiting classes be ranked now after all the attrition? Doesn't mean shite if players left, got kicked off, etc.

CEO will get his 8 wins. I sure hope so. Or will he? LOL. A blind monkey could do that here with top talent post saban. Nobody here has won less than 8 post dinardo after money finally poured into the program. But that was stated with top talent. do we have top talent now? define top talent? Top 3?
Top 5 recruiting classes or better? top 10? after attrition? or should we say top talent at all positions because it is obvious we are lacking in some areas. So we do not have top talent at all areas.

This is incredibly false. If you look at recruit rankings, Mississippi State started 2 5*'s, 2 4*'s, and several high 3*'s on defense. Simmons was one of the top recruits in the country. Off the bench they have several 4*'s and 3*'s as well, especially on the D-Line

they have 1 top 25 since 2013.
it was 18th.

perma ban bet that from this team lsu has at least 3 times the future nfl players? again only 1 time i their historyhave they had more than 5 players drafted.

ok so this is not top talent anymore after attrition. So without top talent at ALL positions so much for the 8 win guarantee post saban. CEO should still get 8 though. 8-5 at worst.

miss st was ranked 18th in 2015 and they had 6 4 stars and the rest 2 & 3. just stop.

the 30th ranked class had 4 4 star athletes and thats what youre calling a our 2015 class?

even with the losses our 2015 class
was....

KT- 5 star
Guicez 4 star
Jackson- 4 star
key- 4 star
weathersby- 4 star
dillon- 4 star
brossette- 4 star
ducre- 4 star
lewis- 4 star

only someone unfamiliar with recruiting would call that the 30th ranked class

Miles had less and less talent the longer he was here. That's why his record got worse and worse to the point where he was fired mid-year.

He also left us with nowhere near the talent he came in with, and that is why MSU dominated our lines the other day, and that domination is why we got our asses whipped so badly.

Off that list you have 3 at most that have contributed significantly...and honestly Jackson and guice haven't done a lot

LSU's lineman especially on offense have been bad the last 3 years. Horrible recruiting at that position. Until they fix this one position they will stay as bad as they are. Orgeron better bring in at least 5 offensive lineman in the next recruiting class as well as 5 defensive lineman. Offensive lineman are the most important on any team at any level. Do you see Hurts and Brady get touched? Rarely.

I still agree but how can you explain how undisciplined this team is, on both sides of the ball

I'm not going to dismiss it. It's a fair criticism.

But, that doesn't have anything to do with the reality that this team isn't as talented as most of Miles' teams and that, at some key positions, it's a significantly undertalented/thin.
