Guice looks kind of slow...

due to his running style.
But he has incredible burst, is very agile, and seems to never get caught from behind.

He doesn't really look slow but he doesn't hit the hole full bore like DW does. Sometimes that hesitation is a good thing and others it's a bad thing. DW trucks the hole every time.

He relies heavily on his vision. And it's understandable, he is a great back. He will be fine, and no he isn't freaking slow

He's a patient runner, which is why he'll play in the league for 10 years.

He's an unreal runner and A first rounder probably but after watching a couple runs last week. It's funny that people still think he is a better RB than fournette.

I don't think he is anything but fast, but he does exhibit great patience and vision. Plus he is built low and thick which gives him a different style of running when compared to LF or most other RBs.

What do you mean by "has a leg"?

Guy has great vision, reads the hole, gets 5-7 yards a carry, and people get upset because it's not a 60 yard run. OP is right, that vision is why he and Fournette will play 10+ years as pros if reasonably healthy.

He had a 96 yard run from scrimmage. A slow RB doesn't go all the way.

for some reason I thought I saw where he had a nagging but minor injury which he is playing with

I can't put afinger on it but he seems not to look a explosive right now! Looks sort of stiff running the ball granted he is gaining yards! Maybe as the season goes along that will change! Just and observation!

I think lost in this thought is the fact we are running a completely new offense.
Give it some time

Le'veon Bell like with his vision.
If the op go look at Guice's longest run from Saturday, he would see how fast he hit the hole after patiently waiting for it to open.

It's probably a combination of having to learn to be patient and read blocks with the new scheme and a nagging injury. If you all remember he was questionable for the BYU game. After the MSU game I hope they limit Guice's carries for Cuse and Troy if he truly is dealing with an injury.

the only knock i see on him when he runs is he runs very upright and we will get blasted at the next level but everything else is above average
