We seized $1.2M cash in drug money off a boat in the Caribbean a few years ago. We all took ridiculous selfies with it until the prosecuting AUSA made us delete them. The money was on a pallet and shrink wrapped. Pretty impressive.

Saw a pallet of shrink wrapped cash in the finance vault at COB Speicher Iraq. Thousands were signed out by convoy commanders whenever they went out as payments. Interesting stuff. They wanted all of us to use eagle cash credit cards to get rid of cash in the AOR lol.

My grandmother was vice president of a large bank in the 1980s, one morning I went to work with her and I was walking around in the back, went into the vault and saw 4 million in cash.
Wasn't just cash, there was also gold and either silver or platinum.
Now, in my adult life I can't help but feel how many bank robbers have literally killed to be in that position.

No idea. My Mom worked at the bank for a short time when I was young and took me in the vault a few times. Not sure how much was in there but it was quite a bit.

I walked down the loading dock at the Chase Bank building in downtown Shreveport early one morning intending to go up to my office before a 6am flight out to get something. There were two large armored trucks and two planets of shrink wrapped cash being transferred via pallet jack. I don't know how much it was but my sudden appearance scared the shite out of the four security guards and guns got pointed. I spoke to the bank VP on my return and found out there is a US Treasury location in AR and they do the cash transfers for all the branches in LA in Shreveport.

I was delivering some stuff for a party early one Saturday morning to Pat o's on Bourbon. They had me bring the stuff through the office where they were counting the cash from Friday night. No clue how much it was, but there were piles and piles across a bunch of tables.

I audited the Fedreal Reserve vault, couple billion. Pallets of cash everywhere.
