The original chicken nuggets made by Popeyes were mixed (some white, some dark), and the dark ones were the best chicken nuggets ever made. Hell, even McDonald's old nuggets when they still used dark meat were much better than today's.

All of this.
I went to Popeyes a few months ago and just by default asked for the nuggets and they no longer have them. Those things were amazing.

Those old style Popeyes nuggets were so damn good. They quit selling them in our market in the early 1990's. I remember finding a Popeyes in Rayne LA around 1995 that still had them and it was like finding the holy grail. The nuggets now are crap.

I think a wing place that made fried chicken thighs and chicken thigh tenders would kill.
I think I've posted about this idea on this board before.

Brady's in Hammond does a grilled chicken tenders sandwich, w/ bacon and cheddar, that is made with dark meat. One of my favorite things there.

McGuire's in Destin/Ft Walton did chicken thighs like wings. They were awesome. Maybe they still do, but I haven't been to Destin in 5-6 years.

Chicken tenders come from the white meat.

just need something to make the chickens flap their wings for a few hours a day.

How many generations would it take?

1 insert a mechanical fox into the area where the chickens are and have it chase them constantly.
