I took your statement to mean "if you are white male and you feel like you have issues in your life, boy are you ignorant"
"and you feel like you have issues in your life BECAUSE YOU ARE A WHITE MALE" (hence oppressed)...
..glad we had a 3-page thread to clear that up, though

If you're a white male in this country nowadays, it's pretty much guaranteed that no matter what your qualifications or experience, you'll get passed over for a job by a woman or minority.

His view is so macro, as if I (as an individual) get to enjoy some theoretical privilege bestowed upon global whites.
I'm just a middle class dude trying to build a life for my family. I don't break the law, I don't hurt people, and I raise my children to do the same. Noone treats me better because I'm white in my town. My company is obsessed with diversity and I've been passed over for promotions for this reason. I don't complain.
Then I flip on the news and see our national leaders say that I'm the problem. My political beliefs make me an unintentional racist, my skin color makes me patriarchal. My gender is shameful. Its my fault that prisons are filled with blacks and latinos are sneaking into our country. Im destroying the planet. I'm none of those things.
That's why people are pissed. That's why trump is president, but sjw's heart is too black with hate to see it.

I think the idea is that white people are rarely oppressed as a result of their skin color. Other reasons, sure.

It's an absurd belief to think that a white person is oppressed in this country based off their skin color.

But that's not what liberalism is championing now. They're championing the idea that a white person, any white person, has privilege that blacks, any black, don't have. And further that whites, even poor whites, are part of the systemic oppression of blacks. It's bullshite and even the people peddling know it's bullshite.

As a white male, it's very rare that a situation works against me based on race or gender and even rarer that the system around those situations is pushing an inherent bias against me.
That doesn't mean life is all roses and nothing ever goes wrong and I'm better off than all minorities because all systems work against them all the time.... but in the grand scheme, as a white male, I'm generally bestowed some advantages in society.

Making assumptions of someone's wellbeing based on their skincolor seems to fit to a tee the definition of racism, which is making assumptions about a person based on the color of their skin.
1) no assumption was made about someone's well-being
2) the context pretty clearly shows its not racist. Out of the 3 items mentioned (male, white, feels oppressed) only one involves race.

In our current society the blatant racism of affirmative action cannot even be challenged
