Saban was the GOAT LSU coach IMO... Miles was an average coach at best who used the talent he inherited and the LSU brand to recruit the best. Unfortunately, his coaching ability was on display to the world to see on 1/9/12. He was exposed as a fraud that night...

O could be great, but he is starting with much less than Miles did...

This is such bullshite. The "LSU brand" doesn't put in leg work to bring in kids. Did Saban recruit Jarvis, Odell, Leonard, Jeremy Hill, Jamal Adams, Patrick Peterson, Tyron Mathieu, Eric Reid, Morris Caliborn..............?

GTFO with that shite. The man won a national title, 2 sec titles and 3 west titles. Average? Give me a fricking break.

None of those guys came here because they wanted to play for Less Miles. They came here because of LSU, i.e., the LSU brand and the flagship university of Louisiana. They also wanted to play in Tiger Stadium, the greatest college football stadium in the country.

If Less Miles was average he would already have a coaching job. However, he was mediocre, which is why he doesn't have a coaching job.

Miles inherited a more talented team in 05 than O is this year, but O is inheriting a more stable, established program.

They are all millionaires now too... and great ambassadors to LSU. Everything changed on 1/12. The miracle is that LLes was able to still recruit at a high level when the program started its 5 year decline. we had great players but never ONE anything after 1/9...

The way I see it, coach O will not be a fantastic coach. He will never match the talent of Saban and miles. We will be lucky if we see him 3 years as LSU coach. I hope he surprises me tho.

Your opinion means zilch, except to that adolescent SpacedOutCowboy poster
Give a Saban stat to back up being the greatest at LSU.

And who built that brand, you fricking idiot? Saban had less than 3 losses one time here. Dumbass.
