If Coach O started with less than Miles did its only because the boards did their best to ruin his recruiting ,it is even harder to beat bama when you are sending some of our five stars to them !

The juice came from Mark and not Nick. Nick, at that time in 1999, was not so highly respected or successful that he told AD's what they needed to do. Mark was the guy who understood how valuable a successful football program could be to a university.
If not for Mark, Nick, and Miles, LSU football doesn't experience the remarkable success that it had since 1999.
