Healthcare reform was a lose- lose proposition for the Republicans. Nothing short of single payor would have even remotely had bi-partisan support. Let it collapse and the Dems still OWN IT.

Amen

Thankfully we have a President that won't let the Dims drive the narrative when it collapses.

Let our healthcare system collapse? Bold strategy for the party that controls all of government

You think big Pharma and big Insurance will let that happen? They're the ones pulling the strings here.

As much as I would like for that to happen, the GOP would never live that down.

"You had the house, senate and POTUS and now you're leaving all those millenial basement dwellers out in the cold you heartless fricks! ACA was a work in progress and the GOP stopped all work".

You need to lay off the Fox News.

No way anyone outside of the Trump base will put this on the Dems when the Repubs have both houses, the presidency and fail to do anything to help alleviate the problem.

They didn't even need a single Dem vote to pass this bill, but failed to do it after years of campaign promises to do so.

No way independents give Trump and the Repubs a pass

That's bullshite. If they repeal it, that action will be enormously popular among their constituents. The only lose/lose proposition is to do nothing when a straight repeal will do.

Can't just let it go. Campaign promises. Many of their constituencies are going to hold them accountable for replacing Obamacare.

The 2-year sunset plan isn't a bad approach.

Obamacare won't be pulled cold turkey, so that avoids catostophic effects.

At the same time its end date is put on the clock, and when you put something on a calendar, you tend to get action.

Letting healthcare collapse while you have the power to change it is not something for which constituents will reward you

#1 campaign promise was repeal/replace dude

Or perhaps keep the damn thing and make necessary adjustments to the law to help and provide value to the American people. How about that?

I love Trumpkins and the righties on here...you just post crap you pull right out of your asses without using the brain located there to consider things before you post.

It only collapses if Republicans sabotage it.

You bought it, now you own it.

Yep. The last quarter of some of the 2016 Fed deficit monies were related to propping up the ACA.
Let it crash and burn and get the government out of the insurance business.

Not going to happen.

Medicare didn't collapse
Medicaid didn't collapse
Social Security didn't collapse

Basically they will trudge along until the Dems come back into power and "fix" them by raising taxes.

Remind me again of how Trump "gets things done".

It must be nice to have suckers fall for everything you say as gospel. What next? These same dumbasses call him "God Emperor"?

Responsible and healthy people will just have to endure a few thousand bucks a year in a "TAX" until this thing blows up completely.

It fricking sucks, but the GOP sucks right now.

In electing people like Ryan and McCain, the Boomer Conservatives have given us this shite.
