Couldn't find. Were they complimentary at all to LSU?

OSU was a 4 loss team, yet LSU beat them 2/3 times in Omaha. LSU clearly the better "team."
OSU is a very very good team, but they like to bellyache about the foul pole call (which was bad), the umpire in yesterday's game, etc. At the end of the day, it was our pitching and their lack of hitting that did them in.

Pat Casey summed it up best. They played tight. Errr choke job. It's not surprising for such a young team.

I didn't hear any bellyaching. One Player said they couldn't adjust. That's about as strong a statement as was made.
I thought they came off pretty classy; no whining.

They left classless, whiny behavior on the field.

Funny how our young guys didn't. Hell, our freshman have practically carried this team at the plate since arriving in Omaha with few exceptions.

I agree. There was a noticeable difference in attitude between the two dugouts. Not many smiles in the OSU side in either game where the Tigers were laughing and joking most of the games.

They did but had the class to not take it elsewhere.

I saw a dude yawning in OSU'S dugout in the 6th or 7th inning. Playing in games to get to the CWS finals isn't suppose to be boring.

Probably tired from the fire alarm Ell13 pulled at 1:00 am.

Obviously, LSU paid someone to do that while paying the umps and the fans......

I want to say yawning is indicative of something other than just boredom...

They played tight because they ran away with the Pac 12 title & had faced no pressure all season long. As compared to the meat grinder of the season the Tigers played through, then having to beat Moo St. 3 times on the road to win the conference, then Hoover's grind, then having to beat Moo St. again, twice, to advance. All that prepared LSU for the pressure of the CWS. The Beavers never faced anything like it. And it seems like the Head Beaver choked a bit, too.

That yawn stuck with me also...even if the kid knew he wouldn't play, was hungover, whatever...you'd think he'd still be amped up given the situation.

That ball hitting the pole and OSU and ESPN acting as though that cost them the game. There are nine innings that each team has and you cannot in any way believe that one missed call cost you the game. That's like saying your football team runs 80 plays and the opponent 60 plays and that one particular play cost them the game. The ball hitting the pole happened early in the game and they did nothing to overcome it. I can imagine how they must feel, I had similar feelings when PP7 intercepted a pass against Alabama and they ruled him out of bounds when it showed he was in bounds. That did not cost LSU the game it cost us an opportunity at a possible TD drive.
I do not believe for one second the OSU team will reflect back on the great season they had. I believe they will reflect on that missed call where the ball hit the pole and believe it cost them their shot at the CWS championship.
They act as though the strike zone in yesterday's game only benefited LSU and not realize that LSU simply took advantage of the liberal strike zone and their own coach stated they did not adjust. It is what it is. On to taking care of UF.

LSU played to win.
Baseball is a fun game. The team gave 0 fricks about anything else.
OSU played not to lose.
We only lost 4 games. Thus can't be happening.

When you start blaming officials/refs and that becomes your focus you are done. That's why I caution our own when we start doing it, it is an exercise in futility.
Adapt and overcome. We did....they didn't.

This is what is scary about them looking to the future. They were so damn good, but yet really young.
