**** Please share this post bc some people just need to be publicly shamed.**** The fiancé also asked me to take this down bc it's "embarrassing" and she "talked to him about it".... well I'm here to talk about trafficking since not many people have the balls to stand up against this ****
If you wanna call MY LEGITIMATE BUSINESS to ask for "special massage for pleasure" then I am going to out your pervert arse on social media. You should be ashamed of yourself.
This is exactly why I choose to have a voice for those who cannot speak for themselves and advocate against human trafficking and sex slavery.
This is the stigma that professional, licensed, and educated therapist have to go through.
Most people don't say anything of laugh/ brush it off, or "let someone else speak up" but I'll straight up out your arse online and publicly shame you and stick up for the cause. #endhumantrafficking #itsNOTok
This also reminds me of one of the owners to Geisha restaurant who asked the same thing "as a joke"..... well, people, SEX SLAVERY IS NOT A JOKE. And Louisiana has one of the highest in the nation.
••••
I always answer the phone with "hello this is Rebecca at Vida Pura Spa!"
Him: "yeah uh do you have anything available for today possibly right now?"
Me: "what services are you looking for..... massage therapy, skin care, waxing, spa packages....?"
The (engaged to be married) perv: "uuuuh...... SPECIAL MASSAGE"
Me: "sir, can you be more specific?"
The perv: "IDK how I can be any clearer"
Me: "well what are your goals..... pain relief, relaxation, migraine relief...?"
The perv: "for pleasure"
Me: "I believe what you're looking for is called a hooker and we do not perform those types of services, and I'm obligated to report your number to the local authorities for soliciting prostitution" and then I hung up.

Kinda seems like she went overboard on the response.

It's always the uglies that yell shite like this. Surely ole baw wouldn't have asked for a handy had he known what she looked like.

It's more of a warning

fricking newbie trying to have a slang convo over the phone.

Why is it up to her to judge this dude and blast his info around?
I swear social media has made it impossible for people just to carry on with their own lives without constantly being on a soapbox.

I hope she recorded that phone conversation. Even then it's a risky post, legally speaking.

Everyone is against human trafficking. Everyone likes a happy ending. Why confuse the two?
Posted on 6/13/17 at 11:14 pm to OysterPoBoy
I love how she calls it human trafficking and sex slavery.
Maybe she missed the significance of her saying "no" with no ramifications to her?

I don't see a victim in a 3 minute handy.
Posted on 6/13/17 at 11:21 pm to OysterPoBoy
I don't see the problem here. If anything that chick should be sued for character defamation if she did call him out publicly
Posted on 6/13/17 at 11:24 pm to OysterPoBoy
She is insane. I get that human trafficking is bad, but this is over the top. I can text any random number with a tirade & accusations; it isn't proof that the recipient did anything.
I have multiple mutual friends with this chick. Damn.

I dare one of you to post this meme in the comments section...

What a miserable bitch. The dude is a stupid kid and made a stupid mistake. He didn't directly solicit prostitution though and this has nothing to do with sex trafficking. I really hate what we've become. A bunch of crybaby pussies

I think the big thing is nobody lets anything go or they take everything as a huge personal slight that MUST be fought for at all costs. Can't anyone just ignore something and go about their day? Damn.

Therapist are actual doctors. That lady gives tugs and rubs for a living. The two are not the same.

First- Unless there is some special reporting law on the books for licensed massage therapist, then there is no such requirement that she report.
Second- Unless I'm sorely mistaken, solicitation requires an exchange of funds for a sexual activity... neither money nor a specific act was discussed in what she quoted.
Thirdly- Her freedom of speech does not include defamation or slander. I'd say posting his personal information along with an unsubstantiated accusation of criminal activity certainly skirts that line.
Lastly- I'd be quite surprised if there aren't confidentiality clauses in her state issued licensing agreement. She most likely violated some statutes and has put her ability to practice her ivory tower massage business in jeopardy.
If I were this guy I'd get an attorney, press charges, file a civil suit, report her to the massage licensing authority, and push the local government to revoke her business license.
