This app seems to have ads in every major sporting event. I seen ads during the Super Bowl, Kentucky Derby, major PGA events, and every other major sport on tv.

Probably not that many, but there are people that spend thousands on these stupid games. It's as bad as a gambling addiction. Freemium model is brilliant

Mobile strike is just a front for a porn app. Everyone knows that

I play. Although, lately they've gotten out of hand with so many new releases costing so much, it's ridiculous and I'm probably about to back off.
I'm fricking stupid for the money I spent on that dumbass game. I'm talking a new car amount. fricking sickening.

People might say the same about cocaine or playing poker.
Don't beat yourself up. You only live once.

Problem is, I spent a shite ton of money on coke and h too.
When I started getting sober, I needed something to occupy my spare time. I choose working out, playing basketball and unfortunately, mobile strike.
Apparently, I love to torture myself.

The same could be said about Game of War. They had Kate Upton as their spokesman. I played for about a year but the constant upgrades and the need to purchase "gold packs" for $100 became insane. It became apparent that people were spending several thousands of dollars to play an online game that is supposedly "free". I turned over my account to someone that cared about the game way more than I did.

Last night I landed on TBS as I was flipping around. There was a program with two nerds playong some kind of martial arts game, with commentators doing play by play. I don't want to live in this world anymore.

Gambling isn't so bad though

Depends. If you're addicted to poker and a decent player, then no. If you're the kind of person who puts thousands into machines daily at the expense of providing your daily needs, then it's awful.

See, I like those the best. Puts money in my account.

I dropped about 3k into game of war and I want to say it was a mistake but it was really fun for a while
Until you wake up and realize you are spending thousands of dollars on a video game.

Can you please explain how a game on your phone can be worth $3000 when you can get the best nintendo there is and it's best 10 games for under $1000? I assume part of it is because you can play anywhere but they sell little portable nintendos. I'm not a gamer so I honestly have no idea, I do want to know though!

Woah. I had no idea people spent that kind of coin on those games.

I've never spent money to play a "free" game on my phone, but I can understand the allure. It's not like he took a wad of bills out and plunked down 3 grand at one time. It's a few bucks here, a few bucks there and the higher you get in the game, the more you need to spend to keep going. Then, before you know it, you've talked yourself into spending way more money than you should have.
I remember going to the arcade at the mall as a kid? with 20 bucks in my pocket and telling myself I'm only going to spend half on video games and the rest in the toy store. Thirty minutes later I'm walking out of the arcade with empty pockets and a soul full of dread at the prospect of spending the next hour waiting on my parents. Some people never grow out of that kind of thing.

Heck, I spent $3 on tap baseball 2017 just to stop the barrage of ads
