Battle with a Co-worker: Tony Romo in the HOF? Yes or No?

He says since Romo is the most successful Mexican QB ever and will get in based on that alone.
Screw his career stats: 29th passing yards in History behind the likes of Krieg, Testaverde, Kerry Collins, Esiason, McNabb, Hasselbeck, etc
Not to mention his lack of playoff success.
What does the MSB think?

I think he had HOF talent but I'd say no. Injuries + no MVPs or playoff success.

I don't think it's really a debate. He was a good QB. The hall of fame is supposed to be for great players.
Was Romo ever a top 5 QB in a given year during his career?

I'm the biggest Romo fan you'll find but he's no hall of famer.

Easily no
This.
- 0 MVPs, never unanimously considered a top 2 QB in the game (Like a Manning/Brady/Brees)
- 2-4 in playoffs never making it past 2nd round
ETA:
Also in the most pass happy era in football history, there are 5 or 6 peers ahead of him in basically every major career stat.
Brees
Brady
Manning
Manning
Rivers
Rodgers
Roethlisberger
Palmer (surprisingly)
All ahead in pass yards and TDs.

I think he was underrated as an NFL QB due to his lack of playoff success, but far from a HOFer IMO.

Absolutely the frick not.

Is this really up for debate? I am somewhat fan of Romo's but no way is he even in the discussion. If he played for the Bills or Jags, no way this question is even being asked.

I'll definitely agree with this.
Also, if he wasn't made of glass, he'd be able to make a run at the hall. But he was just injured too damn much.

McNabb and McNair should get in before Romo. At least those two had some playoff success.

He might just for being the Cowbitches all time stat leader. He does not deserve to be in HOF though

No. An exciting player throughout his career but a career often derailed by injuries.
