A derecho passed over Baton Rouge at 10AM.

Video from Mississippi River in Baton Rouge
derecho- a line of intense, widespread, and fast-moving windstorms and sometimes thunderstorms that moves across a great distance and is characterized by damaging winds.

Damn that was two years ago? That means the child I conceived during the tornado party should be about 15 months old now

Wow can't believe that was 2 years ago. Remember looking outside the window of my office thinking it was getting close to nighttime at 10am

I remember LSU sending an email at 920 saying classes cancelled. You know, as the storm was straight raging over BR.

Is that a tornado on the very far right upper corner? I saw the video but it starts right at that point so it is hard to be sure.

That was one of the craziest weather occurrences I've ever seen. I was on i12 driving into work. All of a sudden, night time.

My youngest daughter was born that day. This was an omen. She is definitely a handful.

Knocked down a big arse tree in my backyard.

Took 2 days to get it out.

I remember being at work and the sky turning green.

I think people in the Dolphin Island Regatta went missing because of that storm.

That morning was fricking nuts. Worst squall line I've ever seen pass through BR.

I clearly remember watching the windows at the end of the hall flexing from the pressure changes. That shite was intense.

Such a crazy day with that derecho in the morning, then another storm hit Baton Rouge in the evening, although it wasn't as bad as the morning storm.
