I just moved to Texas. So much better here. Well the seafood sucks and I'm 4.5 hours away from Tiger Stadium, but it's still better.

It starts with the metro council and school board. Most of them are clowns. Clean them out. Then, run a competent, rational person for mayor and show up to vote.

Has this mayor attempted to do anything that's not geared towards blacks and/or NBR? I've been out of the loop for awhile. What was her platform during the campaign other that getting rid of the BRPD chief?

Or just move away and never go back because it's a shithole.

I left, figured that would help a little bit. Things still bad?

I used to live 5 miles away. Over the bridge in WBRP. I feel your pain.

She branded herself as the business-friendly moderate. She wants to promote downtown, invest in schools, and invest in infrastructure in NBR, but that pltform barely got her into the runoff. To shore up the black vote, she brought in Denise Marcelle who's platform is 100% kill whitey!
Since her primary opponent was Bodi White who wanted to defund downtown development and only focus infrastructure development on suburbs, the business community and downtown people begrudgingly backed Broome. They're now hoping to goodness they didn't just hang themselves since Denise has been made a major adviser. They may have just killed their own golden goose.

The short answer is no. She seems incapable of avoiding the subject of race, regardless of the issue at hand.

She ran on a platform of healing and bringing the city/parish together after a summer of horror. She claimed to be a champion of local small businesses, good schools, and infrastructure improvement. All that went by the wayside once she was elected. She immediately began to surround herself with individuals who are pushing a very strong anti-white agenda.

Excellent summary of how Broome has changed her tune once she brought folks like Marcelle, Gravy, and Ted James on board.

I disagree. Start a petition to recall Broome.
She's a problem but she isn't "the" problem. Bodi White, Denise Marcelle, and Broome got 75% of every vote cast in the general election. That's the problem.

Also crime is overrated in BR. I have never once felt unsafe in that city . In oblivious to crime in south BR

I'm gonna take a shot in the dark here and say you've never driven Uber in North Baton Rouge.

Sorry. Baton Rouge is circling the drain.
LSU is the only thing that will keep BR afloat. Once enrollment drops below a certain level, that's when it's over for BR.
