Roy Williams hasn't been asked a single question about academic scandal during tourney

Just read in an article. What a happy occurrence for UNC.

Get over it. UNC by 5, Zags by 10.

Is this a surprise? When it comes to basketball, the NCAA protects the ACC and North Carolina particularly.

Sports journalism, brah, or what passes for it.

Unrelated, but also interesting:
Roy Williams hasn't coached an NBA All Star while at UNC and hasn't had a one and done in over a decade, I believe.

Maybe one of those SI Kids reporters can ask him about it.

The sports world is worried about the heavy-hitting stories of Lavar Ball vs. Lebron James instead..

He has nothing to answer to the school wont let him say anything. They already filed a response with the NCAA. There is nothing to be gained by asking to hear a no comment.
They have already penalized them for the tutors once. The new allegations supposedly have not been released. They cant touch them about the classes as it was not a violation.

Incorrect.
Marvin Williams and Brandon Wright were both one and dones.

Marvin Williams was drafted in front of CP3, so he was 2005 draft class.
Brandon Wright was 2007, I believe. So we're months away from a decade of no one and done players.

Does anyone care at this point anymore?
After Sandusky and Baylor rape...
Who cares about academic fraud or agents paying players (school should pay them) and the Reggie Bush case or any of that supposed "oooh, this is bad old tyme religion."
It's like still caring about people smoking weed. The NCAA was a criminal organization - that acted like judge and jury without due process and handed out completely arbitrary and disparate sentences for the same crimes depending on who the offender was.
Walter Byers built a billion dollar business on the backs of "student-athletes" (by labeling them that) and forced Universities to sue his arse to get some money. He was a mafia criminal...who later turned rat...as he saw his legacy tarnished.
Byers turned against the NCAA in its current form, saying it established "a nationwide money-laundering scheme."
Byers also revealed that the NCAA developed the term "student-athlete" in order to insulate the colleges from having to provide long term disability payments to players injured while playing their sport (and making money for their university and the NCAA).

Yeah, I always thought it was interesting how people went nuts over tat-gate, then PSU came along and the Tressel stuff was then so insignificant.

Not enough time. The sports journalists are too busy using Roy to get snarky twitter comments disparaging Trump.

Yet another sour grapes thread about Roy Williams. I wish you guys would just come out of your closet and admit you wish he was your coach.
The only people who seem to care are the children on this site who still hold on to their belief that Roy Williams got LSU put on probation.

This really isn't something to just say "Get over it" about. The allegations seem pretty severe yet the NCAA is doing nothing and the media doesn't even question it. Do you think Hugh Freeze would be getting questioned about their accusations if they had made it to the CFP last year?

last time I looked, there was ZERO evidence that the Carolina men's basketball program were involved.

Like 75% of their basketball players had a fraudulent major

well, you nailed it then. You should work for the university and the ncaa since your investigation could break the whole thing wide open.
