One of the first solid pot dealers I ever had was an old gay man. Met him at a headshop and he chatted me up, I was about 19 or so. Offered me some crazy good prices if I came over to his place. Being unafraid of anyone, a teenage mind addled by strong weed, and carrying a gun in my vehicle, I obliged.
It became pretty clear to me what he was after and what his impression of me was. I politely declined and made it obvious that I was quite straight. Luckily, he was a good guy, and still invited me over for dinner and wine with his neighbors, and gave me fantastic deals on drugs. He still sends me emails of naked women and astrophysics.

I've met a lot of weird motherfrickers in my life. Most of them are pretty nice folk if you don't act like a bitch. Except train kids. They're the worst.

There's always been this head in the sand approach with the media towards gay lifestyle.
Look at the AIDS epidemic.
The suggestion that maybe these men stop having tremendous amounts of anonymous anal sex in bath houses was considered homophobic and intolerant.

Exactly.
A lot of of 16 year olds (especially girls) are fully developed, so there's nothing wrong with being attracted to them. Acting on those feelings is obviously another story.

This thread is about the media.
As is usually the case.
Not a big revelation.
Call Claude Raines, he is probably shocked.
Dude were you around during the hysteria of AIDS in the early 80's?
SF wanted to shut-down all the gay bathhouses to save gay peoples lives - they were dens of disease...and they all protested against it - they all protested - against Diane fricking Feinstein...the gay champion, they protested against her - they refused to kow-tow to medical advice...they refused to wear condoms, they refused anything that would hurt their kick-arse sexy party.
And the media basically didn't report this. That not only are they jeopardizing their lives, they're jeopardizing potentially everyone's lives! Nobody knew, except gay people had it and were spreading it like wildfire in bathhouses.
The media ignored it.
Not being stigmatized was more important. Just like the Muslim ban...you can't stigmatize...Having a good time was more important.
Media moved on.
They totally ignored the total SF gay resistance in the AIDS fight initially but totally played up that they were ignored.
As is usually the case.

It's been 11 years of updates on cosmological happenings, invitations to small heady EDM and burn festivals, and the random collection of naked women. He's a good dude. Once went to one of the aforementioned burn festivals with him (mid 60's clean cut and mild-mannered), an early 30's crack addicted punk musician from NJ covered in tattoos, piercings, and a mohawk, and my country hippie arse. Ate swordfish steak and mushrooms.

older gay men like having younger men around and one of the comments that was made (seemingly in jest to a straight person) was "the younger the better". The whole situation gave off a very strange and uncomfortable vibe, but
So then why the frick don't people realize being gay isn't natural, it's caused by these interactions and what kids experience at a younger age, usually illegal and immoral situations.

Sex with a 14 year old, regardless of what you think about it, IS NOT PEDOPHILIA.
I have pointed this out as well. It's crazy how people misunderstand this.
Pedophelia is being sexually attracted to prepubescent children. It's different than wanting to bang the 16 year old babysitter with a great rack.
One is a mental dysfunction, the other is illegal and inappropriate.

Well I'm with you, but if you go about throwing around more precise terms like ephebophile and hebephile people are going to start asking why you're so acquainted with the subject.
The point is there is a HUGE difference between second a 15 year old and a 6 year old

Media never acts in the public interest...health, national security, finances.
It's all feels, PC, progressive, directives, agendas and working for corporations.
I mean, the MSM are just employees of something so much bigger than them. People call it a conspiracy if reporters act liberal.
You go to work for a huge law firm in NY...do you think you can just take whatever case you want, have your opinion, and move on it?
Milo's story is absolutely about the media.
It's what they can hide and what they can hypocritically expose or condemn...and you know they are on their last legs....
Because the MSM is dealing into complete actual historical Webster Irony.

There exists a subculture of vagrants who live their lives, or least part of their mid teens to late 20's, on trains. They stink like shite, they steal from people, and are typically hopeless drug addicts. They try to play music but are usually too strung out to patch together more than three chords. Probably have a multitude of STDs.
Basically, American gypsies, but they do it out of some weird obsession with Kerouac and Cassady instead of it being in their blood.
