If he lost money because of this guy, then I disagree.

I didn't but my parents lost 23k and other friends were ripped off by him. Just want the word to stay out and justice served

In that case I know several TD posters that could carry same grudge. You got scammed due to your faith in man. Most don't want to get as dirty as you have to, to exact revenge.

What is dirty about what he is doing? You make it sound like a bad thing to keep other people from being screwed.

Instead of just updating the title, how about putting the updated link there too?

quote:Great points. It wouldn't surprise me one bit if he had federal charges coming his way for the FEMA money.
Thus, it would be nice if it were a federal charge or two coming his way for that, in addition to the other things he stole. Also, at the very least, all liens should go away.
And on the liens, even if they are legit, you're right, they need to be removed. frick this dude. I have an uncle that's a great man and a great contractor. Really helped me out when I was younger going through some things and helps everyone he comes across that needs help without asking for anything in return. It's assholes like this dude who give great people like my uncle a bad name. Not saying my uncle has any problems with getting business, because he doesn't. But regardless, a lot of times when you mention contractors, people are skeptical because of idiots like this a-hole.

I saw he was charged with criminal charges back in 03. He pleaded them down to misdemeanors.

These are just a few of the charges Wiley said have now been tied to the contractor, but he said the most heinous crime came after Morris first bonded out of jail last month and allegedly borrowed money from a bank using what he alleges people owed him as collateral.
"So now, this bank is sending letters to all of these victims once again saying, 'You don't owe him anymore. You owe us,'" Wiley added. It was this crime that caused a judge to revoke the contractor’s initial bond Monday, meaning this time he will stay behind bars. Wiley said that is where the accused contractor belongs.
"Mr. Morris is a multi-parish nightmare of a crook and a creep who can't stand a day going by without him once again trying to ruin somebody's life at their most vulnerable time," Wiley said.
As for those victims, Wiley said local, state and federal agencies are now involved in the case and hope they can somehow recover some of the money Morris is accused of taking.
you gotta work pretty hard to be this kind of law breaker. how in the frick did this dude think he was going to get out of this/

Good god, this dude just keeps doubling down. This is what got his bond revoked.

You think warning people of a habitual fraud artist that stole $23,000 from his parents is dirty?
Dirty is grabbing him when he was out on bond, taking him to where his screams can't be heard and cutting bite sized pieces off of him until he quits bleeding. Or taking it a step further and doing what he deserves.
