It makes not goddamn motherfricking, cocksucking sense to take money from citizens of Texas, send it to washington d.c., only to have that same money return to Texas with conditions on it. I believe in the free market of State ideas and action.
Yeah well TX, Cali, NY could survive in a free market. Louisiana and most of the southeastern states couldn't. They are completely dependent on federal money.

You don't have any reasoning

less funding causes lower quality of education.
We have a wealth of evidence that suggests minimal correlation between amount of spending and quality of education.
The most obvious factor is the type of students and the support they get from home. In poor areas, it is nearly nonexistent and even ridiculed as socially unacceptable. In richer areas, students and parents understand the importance of education and most have long-term goals.

She will create a further gap of education between rich and the poor.
Your reasoning is flawed.

That's state monies. Not federal.
Which states need the most federal subsidies?

Opposition to most of the cabinet nominees has been out of spite and in the name of politics.
Can't really blame. The Dem base has been screaming for them to grow a backbone and become the party of "No" like they feel the Republicans were the past 8 years. Doing it for so many cabinet picks is certainly unprecedented, but I do think they had legitimate concerns on a few of them. DeVos, Pruitt, Mnuchin, and Sessions mainly. The rest just seemed like half-hearted opposition.

Well, then, they can't afford free education to everyone. It's unsustainable.
If they weren't sending so much money to D.C. maybe they could get their shite together. Or, let the free market ease some of the burden.

What DC does is use logic to send money out to areas that need it the most. Property tax in CA shaft CA schools, which require funding. Other areas (For example, Port Lavaca Tx which is my home town) get shafted because 90% of the population make less than poverty so we need federal funding.

What exactly is bad about what Davos wants to do?
Allow school choice and return control and money to the local level?
Is there something else?
No matter the school, a child's success is primarily determined by having parents that give a shite. I know personal responsibility is a four letter word often for the left though. Wouldn't school choice help the poor parents who actually care help them get to a better school?

So you are arguing for the status quo, while pointing out vast areas of the country that are failing under the status quo?
Makes sense.
Makes sense.
