He's a bad coach, but he's has gotten good players, which is a big part of coaching. Even thought Trent won the SEC, his three years after that were awful.

Jones isn't the worst in history. His ceiling isn't as high as Trent or Brady, but (pending this season) he hasn't bottomed out like them either

Recent numbers suggest Trent Johnson but I'm ok with saying this about JJ

He can't be the worst. I remember him bringing N Texas to PMAC and beating LSU.

He's the worst in game coach in my lifetime. But he's a somewhat decent recruiter so his best teams are decent.

Couldn't tell you. Haven't watched a basketball game in more than 10 years!

He's pretty bad, but he's not Frank Truitt bad.

I don't know any coaches prior to Brown

I think Dale and he aren't that far apart.

He isn't nearly as good as Brady for sure. Johnson was truly bad

Damn, thinking about it, we just do t give two shits about basketball

Purely on actually coaching he's the worst I've seen. But overall he's far from the worst. He's had average but not great teams every year he's been here. He just hasn't had a garbage team until this year

JJ's percentage would look more like reality if it included only SEC games. There may be a lot of annual percentage padding with non conference games.

He's never been under .500 in conference play. That's pretty decent

That's just plain dumb...

Every coach since and including Brown has had similar scheduling.

dale at least motivated the team and energized the fan base. the PMAC was the deaf dome and it was rocking.

there is no energy with johnny jones. no enthusiasm. and the coaching is dull. the offense still doesn't look well coached and with little to no movement. very poor overall team work and cohesion.

there's some talent but this 2016-2017 team will go down as one of the worst LSU basketball teams in recent history record wise IMO.

Maravich was the worse because he had the best player in LSU History and could only get a 3rd Place in the NIT.

Brown was the next worse because he had enough talent to win several NC's but did not.
