What a bizarre thing to complain about

If you don't live here, why complain about it? Nobody gives a shite where you choose to live.

Try going to Tejas. Lived there 4 years. The worst 4 years of my life. Full of a bunch of hillbillies going 50 in the left lane in their 10 year old POS dually.

If it's not a hillbilly in a cowboy hat... it's an Illegal Enchilda in the left lane pulling a bunch of POS vans going 40.

I just got back from a week vacation in Santa Fe, where it snowed on Christmas Eve and was cold as balls all week.

I'm home outside drinking bourbon and it's 54° and perfect. You can have that 25° shite.

Just drove back through New Mexico and Texas on interstates mostly. The drivers are just as bad if not worse.

Going up hills and down hills, everyone's cruise controls don't keep the same speeds, and you end up playing hop-scotch with everyone.

The least the OP could have done is tell us where to and when he moved and why he likes it.

A lot of people that leave have to keep running down the state. I think they are insecure in their decision. I know a guy that moved to N. C. and he is always posting (on Facebook) about how great it is compared to LA. OTOH, he is always cooking gumbo, jambalaya, etc., flying his LSU and Saints flags at his house, talking about Mardi Gras, etc. He seems conflicted.

Or is it just possible that he likes certain aspects of his hometown but still prefers to live where he does? I watch every LSU and Saints game, and enjoy making food from my home state, but I'm much happier living where I am now. Couldn't be more secure in my decision to leave LA.

One of the best decisions I've made was to move my family. However getting on social media bashing Louisiana is pretty damn trashy... be confident and move on. No place is perfect.

A lot of people think their home city or their home state sucks. Fact is, the 5 happiest cities in the country are in Louisiana, at least according to this article:

Truthfully, I fly the colors for LSU games and Mardi Gras. I cook Cajun and seafood recipes from my upbringing (just hard to get fresh). If Louisiana would fix its infrastructure, pick up the trash, just start all over fresh on the schools and disengage New Orleans politics from the rest of the state, I'd love to move back. I miss "the culture", the fishing and hunting and how easy it is to make new and good friends.

All that said, the state as it sits is filthy, unkempt, corrupt to the core, and hopelessly stuck with some of the worst schools in the country.

And posting all about it on Facebook. And talking about Mardi Gras, Jazzfest, etc. He sure doesn't talk about any specifics of how N. C. is better.

NC is pretty awesome. It has it's bad too though, just like everywhere.

LA has good and bad. The outdoors and food are top notch. Every time I come home I see more crappy strip malls and the litter thing. There is an abundance of fat poors too.

Living close to Disney is not perfect either. It is surrounded by meth heads. The roads do not keep up with the need, just like LA. I guess if I just say it is Florida, most of you will get it.

I miss the people and going to games in person.

If there's a thread about it, I'll chime in when people make dumb comments. I enjoy arguing. Sue me.
