You never realize how terrible living in Louisiana was until you go back home.

Stop. Hammer time.

1. Everybody on the road is a threat to kill you. They over correct and are underinsured.

2. What is with the slow pokes in the left lane? It's playing frogger driving amongst some of you.

3. Is there anything entertaining around here besides sitting at a bar drinking? Anything?

4. I'm drunk. What I do now? Wait for an Uber and pay $30 to get home? Transportation around here is terrible.

5. A good job to most folks is one that pays $12 a hour.

6. The biggest professional industry is personal injury and divorce lawyers.

7. It's hot as balls on Christmas.

Eeryone's "home" sucks. You are just living in someone else's suck as home. Funny how that works

You can say all of that but #7 for the majority of states.

You need people like me and others to come back and make your state great again.

Hint: Invest in education.

Moved here from Boston 7 years ago. I really enjoy being able to drink my face off in the middle of a crowded street. This forgives all other parochial handicaps may ail the region.

8. The amount of litter on the sides of the roads in Louisiana is INSANE compared to other states. It's like most of the state has just accepted the amount of filth they deal with as "normal".

My wife came in from Texas on I20 last week and she quipped that potholes must be Louisiana's way of saying 'Welcome'

You can say this for any city in the south

3. Is there anything entertaining around here besides sitting at a bar drinking? Anything?

Pro sports, shows, music venues, I assume those are fun?

Do you think Uber has different rates for LA than they do elsewhere? IF your uber ride is $30 you're either going far as frick or it's surge pricing, which you'd encounter anywhere that has uber.
