Draft Christian McCaffrey 2nd round.

Thoughts if he makes to round 2? Think he would work well to complement Hightower and Ingram. At least gives us a true home run threat. Can't see spending 1st round on Fournette, but since we really don't draft LSU guys, don't see that happening.
First round take best Def player or O lineman. Address other Def needs thru free agency or draft. Only decent UFA RB for 2017 is Leveon Bell, which Pitt will lock up.
Still think we need to get a mid range receiver via FA or draft another prospect.

I wouldn't hate the pick simply because it would probably mean Cadet is out the door.

McCaffery will not be there after round 2.
An alternative may be Eli McGuire of UL-Lafayette.
Same size, skill set and production.
He should be there in the 7th or as an UDFA.

Man, Im torn on this.
McCaffery is amazing and couldnt be more perfect for this type of offense. I actually think hes a little better than Bush. Has more strength and vision.
The problem is the Saints have so many more important needs Id hate to see them spend a valuable 2nd round pick on a guy who probably wont be an everydown back in this system.
If they think they could address some of their other needs in FA or with some sleepers later in the draft then this would be a great pickup.

If it means we finally get rid of Cadet, I'm game. The team really needs to focus on the trenches though, they get pushed around on both sides of the ball. Domination in the trenches = winning.
