He made us realize why we don't want his type of governing leading this nation. The proof is in the pudding - more red states with total Republican governments over the last eight years, i.e., fundamental transformation was a failure.

For making money!
Well let's see, the Dow was at 14300 in 2007 and we're at around 19100 in 2016 so the markets have returned around 3.8% annually over the past 9 yrs, not horrible but far from the 8-10% that equities have returned historically. Now if you dumped a bunch of jack into the markets when the Dow was around 6700, yeah you scored!

If I look at things from a selfish perspective, I've certainly benefited from low interest rates. If thinking corporately, I know those are artificially being held low and we collectively will ultimately pay for the explosion in debt.
I also would not have bought new guns at the rate I have, so that's a bonus.

There's more motivation today to not work than there is to get a job, which is why the labor force is the lowest it's been in 40 years.

As a LEO I would say that having Obama in office for 8 years has been very detrimental to my profession
My health insurance has also risen significantly in price. On paper I'm making more money but my pay checks haven't gone up

My income increased approximately 35% (despite Obama's opposition to the Oil & Gas Industry); however, my standard of living has only increased approximately 5%...the first 3 years of his first term, my standard of living actually decreased until I received a couple of promotions...I can't wait until his reign is over!

I guess on paper I have more people who can afford to come see me in clinic now.
I just haven't met any of them yet.

obama had nothing to do with you getting laid off in 2009.
But couldn't you say that about bush? what did bush give me? I got that $600 tax credit in 2001, and a few extra weeks of daylight savings. But that is about it. I saved a little bit in taxes.
What about clinton? Same.
The impact of a president's policies are largely over-rated. they don't really do that much shite.
the only people that will probably be helped by trump will be the very wealthy.
And the only ones that will be hurt will be women seeking an abortion.
cmon man. the president has full unilateral authority of the entire executive cabinet. he is the boss of the nations largest employer. he can sign a memo making virtually anything a crime and enforce it with more than two dozen agencies at the drop of a hat.
GTFOOHWTS
Oh yeah, the POTUS goes to war unconstitutionally too. So his influence extends to the entire fricking world. if you don't believe me, ask al alawki.

I got audited twice between 2009-2013.
Now I owed no additional, but frick that fricker, and his political hack lois Lerner.
That's my input. I didn't sleep election night. One of the happiest days for me in recent memory.
She should be in federal prison though. Lois.

Bush has more executive orders than Obama.
That's actually not accurate. There have been several Presidents with more than O, but Bush isn't one of them. O passed him several months ago.

My retirement account lost almost $100k in the last year of Bush, but it gained that back and then doubled under Obama.
If Trump can match Obama on that, I'm with him all the way.

Stock market made me an OT baller.
Never have to work again in my lifetime.
Thanks, Obama.
