You're right that LSU's head coach needs a strong relationship with LA HS coaches, but I promise you 100% of Alabama HS head coaches don't like Saban either. You can never please all of the people all of the time.

There's some envy going on with some and it's a shame. Whomever the anonymous coach was should compare paychecks at the end of the year and perhaps take some advice on how to manage his own affairs better.

Wish I would have know it was Moscona. Wouldn't have given that douche a click.

They should revisit once the OC hire is made.

Until that coach has a player we want, but instead of pushing him to LSU, he pushes him to bama.

He was pretty good but what they were doing at the U was difficult to translate to most High Schools. At some point he said "Of course we had Warren Saap!"

Circle K.....This one made me lol.
Poor example by uninformed, as they are #2 fuel retailer nationally, and pending gov approval are buying out Valero Stores to become even bigger.

It's funny watching the outrage when damn near everyone here said, pre O becoming the official head coach, that he was a great recruiter and motivator, but lacked in the X's and O's

This epitimizes the rant. 21 coaches commented. 18 positive, 2 negative, 1 neutral. And of course the OP quotes a negative comment.

Based on this I guess he's thinking we should have tried to lure Coach Leach away from Wash State or maybe Coach Mumme from that school in Mississippi so that he wouldn't have to fly out to catch a offensive coaching clinic.

F this high school coach pissed that he can't expense a Austin plane ride to the HS.

For the record I am a huge Leach fan but even I see that O is a better fit for LSU.

O's not an innovator, he's a motivator. Hopefully our OC will be as dynamite as Aranda is at DC.

You saw that as well?

Par for the course when you're a negative person.

Between the 2 of them alone, Coach O and Coach Jenkins have put a lot of players in the pros. Obviously, they have nothing to teach a high school coach.

If that dude wouldn't want to go talk shop with Aranda, he isn't a very good coach.

Agree 100%. High School Coach being way to big for his britches.

Not interested just because of Coach O? What about being interested in a defensive staff that only gave up more than 21 points once all season? What about a defensive staff that kept Alabama to it's lowest-scoring game all season? What about an offense under O that averaged 475 yards per game - that put up more than 400 yards in 6 of the 7 games, more than 500 yards in 4 of 7 games, more than 600 yards in 2 of 7 games? I can understand a lot of people were upset with the hire and the process of it, but I don't get this guy's criticism.

the world like to have him on their staff and you are coaching some private school full of little white kids. fricking dumbass people. Coach O has worked with some of the greatest coaches ever in college football and that includes the assistants that were on the same staff as him over the years.

And yet has been a position coach for 29 of his 32 years. Yeah he is very well thought of.

Yeah he is only one of the best run game coaches in cfb. How many bad rushing attacks have we had? Hell we have great rushing attacks without the help of a passing attack. Miles may have limited game day coaching but the man knows rushing attack.

Can you blame these HS coaches?
Those hs coaches have ran as many successful college offenses, defenses, and successful programs as ED ORGERON HAS. What the hell can he tell them about running a successful offense, defense, or program? His only HC tenure is the worst tenure in ole miss history.
Let that sink in.

Maybe LSU should've hired one of them expert coaches instead of O.
