Weren't you in the thread regarding the George mason study? Their estimates would put it at what? 1.25?
They estimated something like 6.4% of illegal immigrants vote, and each illegal vote has an expected value of D +0.64.

Actually, it guarded well against the very thing it was designed to stop. If the law was popular vote, do you think maybe more Republicans would have voted in CA, NY?
The electoral college discourages voters from both parties from voting in non-swing states. Moving to popular vote presidential elections would increase Republican turnout in states like CA and NY, but it would also increase Democratic turnout in the same states. Many people in historically one-sided states just don't bother voting unless there is an important downballot election.

So, de facto invasion via Obama's Executive Order fiat Immigration Policy is a virtue, and a plus for American citizens?

I'm wondering when somebody is going to stand up and tell present and future retirees that their Social Security and Medicare is gone, because most of these immigrants will be subsidized into those Programs. Shrinking slice of pie, unless those immigrants are forced to contribute.

early voting/mail in voting

How does one live 2 hours from the nearest voting location?
I am still registered in my hometown since I was transient during college.

I have always voted absentee. When I went to inquire about requesting an absentee ballot they had an online request form. By the time I realized it was an online request form that needed to be printed off and mailed, it probably wouldn't have gotten to the board of Elections in time.

So you're lazy. Now I understand why you are a democrat.

"Why do we bother with having an Electoral College?"

Here is your answer:

That's what Clinton won. Source (NYT)

Here's Trump's:

Clinton’s America - 15% - 530,000 square miles
Trump’s America - 85% - 3,000,000 square miles

As if a bunch of unpopulated dirt represents anything. She got more votes. He won. Deal with it.

In an election with Donald trump? That's at least 80 percent if not more.

I wonder how many of those votes are from dead people and illegal immigrants.

Maybe start with the Federalist Papers

Why? Are they the law of the land?

No, but as any even halfway-educated person understands, they are the philosophical and political framework under which the "law of the land" was written.

Try reading them. Then maybe you wouldn't ask such stupid fricking questions.

1,150,000

Seriously tho, this would be very interesting to know because you know they rigged the elections and still got their asses kicked.
