Not sure if these go back earlier in time, but I know there have been threads on t-tops, and everyone had leakage. I remember my pops' car was a mess.

Hyundai. Their comeback has been amazing.

Definitely. My first car was an '87 Hyundai Excel. I got 118,000 miles out of it and traded it in on a brand-new '93 Hyundai Elantra right after I got married. What a pile of shite that car was. Sold it the following year.

It's unbelievable how much better their cars are now.

That engine was designed in the 20s IIRC. It has good qualities and bad qualities, just like all engines. Look up "Wankel Engine"

yep, and Mazda had that in the US in the 70s, sort of like the rebirth of the "Hemi," had nothing to do with being big or powerful, it was the shape of the engine block

FIFY

They aren't bad engines. Longevity is their main drawback

My parents had one of these around 1987. One of the biggest POS vehicles ever made. All of it was bad.

Lol. When I was 15, the only friend I had with a car had a Yugo. It's shittiness knows no bounds. Whenever we pulled up next to a school bus, the whole bus would stick their heads out of the windows and laugh.

It was hilarious when we were coming back from fishing on a weekend morning. While sitting at a traffic light, with black m thick black exhaust billowing out, Shaq and Tracey McGrady pulled up next to us with their windows open. When they pulled up, all of the smoke went straight into their ride.

That pop up lighter. My mom warned me but I had to put my finger on it. I've still got the swirl marks. It's a hell of a way to take off ones fingerprints.

I hate to tell you but those swirl marks are your fingerprints.
