Sprint Unlimited data plan

Does anyone here have Sprint and the unlimited data plan? I am wondering if it's any good. I currently have Verizon and happy with the service but I always get close or go over my data and Verizon is expensive. Is Sprint any good? Trying to save money and not have to worry about data overage every month

I have it. Overall calling service is ok. But I use a lot of data with steaming various shite while sitting at my desk at work. I'm never getting off this plan. I'm sure with Verizon or ATT my bill would be high as hell with my streaming habits. Plus, I have unlimited data for the entire family so I'm not the only one using crazy bandwidth everyday. My plan is old though. I haven't switched plans in maybe 5 years or so.
I think it's called Family Data Pack and the plan features are:
- unlimited data
- 1500 minutes
- free nights and weekends start at 7pm
- free cell to cell minutes.
We never get close to the 1500 minutes. My monthly bill is about $145 per month for two lines.

What TV Provider do you use? AT&T and Direct TV have some really good deals now, not sure if they still have unlimited but thats what I am on.

I have Cox Cable. I used to have At&t until last year. They made me mad. Kept dropping calls and missing calls that I never got

I only had one problem with them and I called up there to cancel plan and they gave me $25 off my bill for a couple months...speaking of which I guess it is time for me to call again

There's a reason its half the price. Its less than half the coverage. Sprint is horrible.

I have sprint unlimited everything. My bill for 1 phone is just south of 100(phone lease payment included).
I'm in houston and don't have any issues, I use the shite out of data.

Sprint is not horrible. Not the fastest speeds, but certainly not horrible. No issues at all with phone service.

Just switched to sprint. Had some issues with them in recalling the Note7 and in my experience the in store workers were morons. But that being said when people claim sprint is horrible they are just wrong.
But i will say that sprint isn't for everyone. Depending on location sprint can be hit or miss. In my experience sprint has pretty bad building penetration. At work inside my office literally 1x service. (Luckily I have work wifi) the SECOND I step outside BOOM perfect service.

I had them years ago and I would drop calls constantly or have no service in areas that are well populated that should have service. I know they have worked on their network over the last few years and was hoping they were better. I stopped in a Sprint store yesterday and I found out that you can't talk and use Internet at the same time unless you are on WiFi. I use that all the time and don't know if I could deal with that. Sometimes it's just nice to be able to look up things without having to hang up the call. Especially when planning a date lol

I have it in dfw area. Call service is fine, but data service isn't great. I show 3G a lot. Its terrible when I go through Louisiana, just an FYI

Service is fine most places in South Louisiana. Probably not as quick as Verizon, but it's not slow. The only place I ever have any issues with it is on the Basin and traveling through some of the smaller towns in Texas. Haven't had any issues in DFW.
The note about Sprints building penetration is true, due to the band that they use.

switched SO from AT and T and Sprint is equal to them- can tell no difference

I had sprint for years and it was fine, I just switched to Verizon to hop on a family plan and i don't see much difference.
I live in a major city though and my understanding is coverage is the same in big cities... it's the fringe areas where att and Verizon shine

I have been a customer with Sprint for just over 7 years.
Wife and me are on the unlimited everything family plan or whatever it is called. $100 for 2 lines. If I want to add a third line, cost is $40 extra.
Service works fine for us. They have a trial period where you can test it for your area before locking in so to speak.
Sprint got a bad reputation and deservedly so, but I've noticed over the past year and a half, the service has gotten considerably better. I've never been without cell service, just occasionally slow data speeds.

Thanks. I like the unlimited Data. Just wanted to make sure it was reliable

everytime i see a Sprint commercial i think, "people still have Sprint?"

I have the unlimited plan and pay around $90 a month and that includes insurance on the phone. I have noticed that there are some areas that the signal is weak but overall I am satisfied plus I don't have to deal with AT&T customer service anymore.
